These days there are a lot of couples who have been asking about pre wedding photography and videography. And likewise it has also become a trend with most wedding photographers in Mumbai as well as other places in India to include these in their wedding packages.
So what exactly is a pre wedding shoot or a pre wedding session? Here are some thoughts on the idea of why a pre wedding session with your photographer can be a good option to look at.
I always recommend to my couples to have a pre wedding session before their wedding day for a number of reasons:-
ICE BREAKERS: A pre wedding session is a good way for the photographer and the couple to get to know each other. Couples get to understand the photographer’s style of working and it also helps bridge a good friendly relationship between the two sides. A friendly photographer will always be more comfortable to have around on the wedding day.
The photographer will understand the body language of the couple and also the chemistry they share. It helps him to be prepared for how to approach the wedding and he can plan his shots and post production accordingly.
These sessions also help in easing out the awkwardness oR consciousness that couples have towards facing the camera. A good wedding photographer will make them feel comfortable and make them look good on camera. It is not about how you look but how you feel. He will give you tips and hints to make it look natural. He will ask you to say funny inappropriate things to make you laugh and get you in the mood.
PLANNING POST PRODUCTION : These sessions also help the photographer in planning his shots and his wedding film. For example: If a couple is not very romantic, he would not urge them to do very romantic things on the wedding day and vice versa.
